College of Political Sciences

Dr. Khairallah Subhan Abdullah Al-Jubouri, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs at the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, participated in a training program on rehabilitation and reintegration, organized by invitation from the International Organization for Migration (IOM), held from 28 – 30 October 2024.

The participants discussed mechanisms for psychological and social rehabilitation, strategies for reintegrating individuals into society, and the challenges in implementing rehabilitation programs.

This participation aimed to enhance skills and expertise in rehabilitating and reintegrating individuals affected by conflicts, providing community and psychological support to enable them to return to normal life.

The program concluded with recommendations to strengthen cooperation between governmental institutions and international organizations and to develop tailored programs to support targeted groups, contributing to building a more stable and inclusive society for those affected.
