The College of Political Science at the University of Mosul Hosts a Scientific Workshop on Reproductive Health Organized by the Information Center for Research and Development

The College of Political Science at the University of Mosul hosted a scientific workshop on reproductive health organized by the Information Center for Research and Development on Monday, 9 December 2024.

Public policies on reproductive health are a vital part of comprehensive health policies aimed at improving the health of individuals, families, and communities. These policies focus on the effective and quality provision of reproductive health services while considering human rights and the diverse needs of different groups. The workshop also addressed various dimensions of reproductive health, including legal, economic, social, and educational aspects.

The workshop consisted of two lectures presented by Dr. Nuran Omar Talal and Ms. Sarah Najeeb Khalaf, while it was moderated by Ms. Raghad Adel Nadhim (all of whom are affiliated with the mentioned center).

Part of the workshop was attended by the Scientific Assistant, Lecturer Dr. Khairallah Subhan Al-Jubouri, the Head of the Media and Government Communication Division, Senior Chief Engineer Hassan Younis Abdullah, as well as a group of female staff members, including faculty members, employees, and students.
