The Public Policy Department at the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, organized an awareness workshop on preventive measures against drug promotion among youth groups on Thursday, 20 February 2025.
The workshop covered several key topics, including awareness and education, monitoring and control, family and social support, preventive programs in schools and universities, stricter legal penalties, early treatment and rehabilitation, and international cooperation.
The workshop was delivered by Professor Dr. Walid Salem Mohammed, Head of the Department, and Dr. Zaid Rafiq Sultan, Lecturer in the department.
The event was held under the patronage of the Dean of the College, in collaboration with the Continuous Learning Unit and the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, targeting students.
