The Career Development Unit at the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, Holds a Training Session on Public Participation in Decision-Making
The Career Development, Employment, and Alumni Follow-up Unit, in collaboration with the Professional Skills Committee for Graduates at the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, conducted a training session titled “Public Participation in the Decision-Making Process” on Thursday, 27 February 2025.
The session, held under the patronage of the Dean of the College, provided a comprehensive explanation of the importance of enhancing public participation in the decision-making process. It also covered the mechanisms of influence and pressure that democracy enables to improve government performance through public participation.
The session consisted of a single lecture delivered by Assistant Lecturer Mizar Faris Dhiab Al-Jarba, with Dr. Ali Bashar Bakr, the unit’s head, serving as the session rapporteur. The session targeted both students and graduates alike.
