A scientific research paper by Assistant Lecturer Ansam Salem Mahdi from the Public Policy Department at the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, on the role of the university in combating extremism
The Association for Specialized Studies between the Hawza and the University has published the proceedings of the scientific research abstracts from the Ninth International Conference between the Hawza and the University, which was held in Najaf on 27 June 2024. The publication included dozens of research papers presented at the conference, among them the research paper by Assistant Lecturer Ansam Salem Mahdi from the Public Policy Department at the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, titled: “The Role of the University in Combating Extremism and Building Intellectual Awareness among Students.”
The research aims to highlight the role of universities in countering extremism by enhancing students’ intellectual awareness, developing their critical thinking skills, and promoting the values of tolerance and intellectual openness through academic curricula and awareness activities.
