A Student Guidance Workshop at the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, on the Crime of Theft
The faculty members of the Public Policy Department at the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, Assistant Lecturer Ansam Salim Mahdi and Assistant Lecturer Saad Shahab Ahmed, conducted a guidance workshop titled “The Crime of Theft” on Monday, 3 March 2025. The session was chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Shaima Nazem Hammoudi.
The workshop addressed the concept of theft as a crime from both legal and social perspectives, highlighting the reasons for its prevalence in societies, the factors leading to its commission, and its negative effects on individuals and the community.
The workshop was held under the patronage of the Dean of the College and targeted students. It was part of the activities of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit.
