The Political Science College at the University of Mosul Holds a Symposium on Investing in Others’ Wars

The Department of International Relations at the Political Science College, University of Mosul, held its symposium titled: “Investing in Others’ Wars: U.S. Gains from the Russo-Ukrainian Conflict” on Tuesday, 11 March 2025.
The symposium aimed to shed light on the dimensions of international conflict, analyze U.S. strategies in leveraging wars, assess economic and military repercussions, and anticipate transformations in the international system.
The symposium featured seven research papers. The opening paper was presented by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Tareq Mohammed Tayeb Dhahir, and was chaired by Lecturer Dr. Firas Mohammed Ahmed Elias.
The event was held under the patronage of the University President, Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, under the supervision of the College Dean, and in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit. The Scientific Assistant, along with faculty members and postgraduate students, attended the symposium.
