The American Corner Unit of the Scholarships and Cultural Relations Department at the University of Mosul organized an academic virtual meeting with Lindenwood University, USA, on Monday, 17 March 2025. Several faculty members and students from different colleges at the University of Mosul participated in the meeting, including representatives from the College of Political Science
Among the participants were Assistant Professor Dr. Tareq Mohammed Thanon, Lecturer Dr. Zaid Raef Sultan, Assistant Lecturer Aseel Ghanem Abd, Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Saif Al-Din Mahmoud, and Assistant Lecturer Nawar Basel Mahfouz, along with ten students from various academic levels.
The meeting featured in-depth scientific discussions and exchanges of ideas and proposals related to human rights issues. This resulted in a productive exchange of insights and experiences, reflecting the university’s commitment to promoting knowledge and awareness of human rights within its academic environment. Discussions and meetings will continue in the coming weeks according to a scheduled plan.
