The Psychological Counseling Division of the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul Holds a Guidance Seminar on the Scourge of Drugs
The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Division of the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul held a guidance seminar entitled “The Scourge of Drugs” on Wednesday, 23 April 2025.
The seminar aimed to shed light on the psychological, social, and health effects of this scourge, to highlight its dangers to both the individual and society, and to promote preventive awareness to avoid it.
The seminar consisted of three lectures presented by the Head of the Division, Lecturer Dr. Shaimaa Nadhim Hammoudi (Chair of the Session), along with Lecturer Dr. Kawthar Hassan Ghazi and Assistant Lecturer Saad Shihab Ahmed.
The seminar was held under the patronage of the Dean of the College and falls within the annual plan of the division. It was organized in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit and targeted the student body.
