The College of Political Science attended a meeting organized by the Presidency of the University of Mosul regarding updates on the implementation of the electronic system for academic promotions.
The Central Committee for Academic Promotions at the University of Mosul held a meeting on the latest developments concerning the application of the electronic platform on Tuesday, 20 May 2025. The meeting was attended by the heads of the subcommittees for academic promotions at various colleges, as well as the chairpersons of the scientific committees.

Representing the College of Political Science were the Chair of the Academic Promotions Committee, Professor Dr. Adnan Khalaf Hameed, the Head of the Promotions Unit, Lecturer Basma Muhammad Nadhir, in addition to members of the college’s scientific committees: Professor Dr. Salem Matar Abdullah, Assistant Professor Dr. Tarik Muhammad Dhanoon, and Assistant Professor Dr. Ziyad Samer Zaki.

The meeting focused on discussing the recent developments in the implementation of the electronic academic promotions system, providing detailed explanations and comprehensive responses to all issues raised in this regard. This initiative aims to advance the work of the committees and reflects the university’s commitment to keeping pace with technological advancements, thereby enhancing its operations and objectives.
