Vision:

The Scientific Promotions Unit strives to elevate the academic level of the college’s faculty members in pursuit of obtaining advanced academic titles.

Mission:

The Scientific Promotions Unit works on implementing the academic promotion mechanism for all academic ranks and facilitating the procedures of promotion transactions.

Objectives:

  • Promoting faculty members to higher academic titles across all ranks.

  • Increasing the number of faculty members holding the titles of Professor and Assistant Professor.

  • Encouraging faculty to submit high-quality research for academic promotion purposes.

  • Encouraging faculty to publish their research in reputable international journals.

  • Encouraging faculty to process their promotion applications within the legal and minimum timeframes.

  • Establishing a solid and reliable database of information and records related to the academic promotions of the college’s faculty.
