The Head of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Political Science Attends a Developmental Training Course Organized by the University of Mosul Presidency
The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Department at the University of Mosul organized a specialized training course aimed at enhancing the skills of guidance unit heads across the university’s colleges. The course was held 22 – 25 June 2025.
Representing the College of Political Science, Dr. Shaimaa Nazem Al-Obaidi, a lecturer and Head of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, participated in the course.
The program included a series of lectures and workshops delivered by a group of professors specializing in psychological counseling and psychology from the University of Mosul, in addition to speakers from the Ministry and from the Lebanese University (via online platforms).
This course is part of the university’s broader efforts to support the psychological and educational well-being of its students and staff and to enhance the competence of its counseling personnel, thereby contributing to a more supportive and balanced academic environment.
