College of Political Sciences

In implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—Goal 4: Quality Education, Goal 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals—the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul organized a specialized course on Arabic Language Accuracy on Sunday, 17 August 2025.

The course consisted of a single lecture delivered by Professor Salah Al-Deem Saleem Mohammed from the Department of Public Policy, and was administered by the Administrative Assistant Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Yaseen.

The course aimed to raise the linguistic proficiency of participants and to enhance their skills in using Standard Arabic, particularly in official and academic writing and correspondence. It focused on common writing errors, rules of grammar and morphology, and principles of accurate expression, leading to correct formulations that are as free of mistakes as possible.

The course was held under the patronage of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib Khalid Jasim Al-Tai, and targeted heads of divisions and units, as well as staff members in general. It is expected that such courses will continue in the future with more in-depth and specialized topics, God willing.
