In line with the Sustainable Development Goals—Goal 4: Quality Education, Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals—the Dean of the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul, Assistant Professor Dr. Sohaib Khalid Jassim Al-Taie, paid a visit to the Nineveh Directorate of Education on Tuesday, 19 August 2025. He was received by the General Director of Education, Mr. Mohammed Ibrahim Aboudi.

The visit aimed to explore avenues of academic and cultural cooperation between the two institutions, particularly in the fields of training educational staff, developing leadership and administrative skills, as well as organizing joint activities and events that serve the educational process and support students. Both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening the partnership between the University (and the College in particular) and the Directorate, in a way that contributes to advancing the educational and scientific journey in Nineveh Governorate.

The Dean was accompanied on this visit by the College Council Secretary, Assistant Professor Dr. Younis Moayad Younis.
