Attendance of the Dean of the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, at the Peaceful Coexistence Forum in Nineveh

In line with the Sustainable Development Goals—Goal 4: Quality Education, Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities, Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals—the Components Board organized the second forum on coexistence among the communities of Nineveh Province on Tuesday, 19 August 2025. The event was attended by distinguished academic, religious, administrative, and media figures. Representing the College of Political Science, the forum was attended by the Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib Khalid Jassim Al-Taie.
The forum aimed to promote a spirit of tolerance and harmony among the diverse communities of Nineveh, and to reinforce a culture of dialogue as a foundation for addressing societal challenges. It further sought to establish peaceful coexistence as a practical and sustainable value that preserves the unity of the social fabric and ensures the community’s cohesion and prosperity in the long run.
The forum was held under the patronage of President Bafel Jalal Talabani and under the slogan: “Coexistence is Our Choice.” The Dean was accompanied by the College Council Rapporteur, Assistant Professor Dr. Younis Moayad Younis.
