Senior Accounts Manager Roaa Salem Younis Participates in the Developmental Course on Preparing the Trial Balance and Financial Statements
In line with the Sustainable Development Goals—specifically Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals—the Training Center of the Federal Financial Control Bureau, Nineveh Branch, held its developmental course titled “Preparing the Trial Balance and Financial Statements According to the Government Accounting System” from 10 – 14 August 2025.
The course was attended by a number of accountants from various administrative bodies and formations inside and outside the University of Mosul. From the College of Political Science, Senior Accounts Manager Roaa Salem Younis participated in the course.
The course aimed to enable participants to prepare the trial balance and financial statements according to the decentralized government accounting system. It also focused on familiarizing participants with the set of documentation, accounting books, and analytical statements attached to the financial statements, in addition to presenting some practical cases.
