The College of Political Science at the University of Mosul attends a workshop organized by the Civil Defense Division on work automation and process facilitation.

In line with the Sustainable Development Goals—Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure; Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions; and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals—the Civil Defense Division, affiliated with the Office Affairs Department at the University of Mosul Presidency, held a workshop on the preliminary steps for digital transformation in its work on Sunday, 24 August 2025. The workshop was attended by safety officers from various colleges, departments, and centers. From the College of Political Science, participants included Chief Engineer Eyad Abdulqader Mohammed and Assistant Agricultural Engineer Khalid Mohammed Jajan.

The workshop addressed the most modern methods of electronic communication with university staff using digital technologies, contributing to the organization of civil defense alerts electronically, ensuring procedural accuracy, and saving time and effort. The importance of cooperation and integration among all university units was emphasized to achieve the strategic goal of digital transformation and to consolidate the principles of e-governance.
