The thesis aimed to demonstrate the influence of al-Asma‘ī in guiding the semantic understanding of pre-Islamic poetry and his contribution through his interpretations in revealing the development of meanings and highlighting several semantic phenomena, making him one of the contributors to the early construction of Arabic lexical awareness alongside other pioneering linguists.

After the discussion, the committee’s decision was read, which included the acceptance of the thesis and awarding the student the Master’s degree.
