The First Nineveh Health Forum Presents a Shield of Appreciation to the Head of the Administrative Affairs Division at the College of Political Science, University of Mosul

In line with the Sustainable Development Goals—Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, Goal 4: Quality Education, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals—the First Nineveh Health Forum was held in the city of Mosul from 1 to 3 September 2025.

The forum included scientific visions that addressed mechanisms for developing health services and strengthening partnerships between academic, health, and legislative institutions, thereby contributing to improving health performance and providing the best services to the people of the province.

On its closing day, several distinguished figures associated with the forum were honored, among them Mr. Sufyan Sabah Nouri, Assistant Sports Trainer and Head of the Administrative Affairs Division at the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, who was presented with a Shield of Appreciation by the University President, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi.

The forum was regarded as an important platform for building bridges of communication between health institutions in the province and academic formations, in order to explore ways to advance the health sector, identify key challenges and obstacles, and work toward practical solutions that contribute to the development of medical services.
