College of Political Science at the University of Mosul Holds a Seminar on the Occasion of the Prophet’s Birthday

In line with the Sustainable Development Goals, Goal 4: Quality Education, and Goal 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions; the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul organized a seminar entitled “The Noble Prophet: A Good Example” on Sunday, 14 September 2025.
The seminar included a single lecture delivered by Professor Salahuddin Salim Mohammed, faculty member in the Department of Public Policy, with the session coordinated by Hasan Younis Abdullah, Senior Chief Engineer and Head of the Media and Government Communication Division.
The seminar aimed to highlight the lessons and values derived from the life of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), emphasizing the humanistic and ethical principles he embodied in dealing with people, as well as the role of these values in building a society based on coexistence, peace, and justice.
The seminar was held as part of following up on national and international days and in conjunction with the Prophet’s birthday.
It was organized under the supervision and presence of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sohaib Khalid Jassim Al-Taie, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, represented by Ms. Rana Fadhel Ahmed, and was attended by a group of faculty and staff members.
