New Co-Authored Book Published by the Head of the International Relations Department at the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Hazem Hamad Al-Janabi, on the Russian Strategy Regarding the U.S. Approach to Eurasian Geopolitics

In line with the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 4: Quality Education, and Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, Professor Dr. Hazem Hamad Al-Janabi, Head of the International Relations Department at the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, has published a co-authored book entitled: “The Russian Strategy Regarding the U.S. Approach to Eurasian Geopolitics in the Era of President Vladimir Putin”, published by the Academic Publishing Center – Cairo.
The book examines Russia’s view of Eurasia as its strategic depth and its perception of the U.S. approach as a direct threat, necessitating the use of both hard and soft power to fortify its geopolitical shield. Putin has drawn on the ideas of Alexander Dugin in shaping Russia’s strategic approach vis-à-vis China’s peaceful rise. The book concludes by favoring a tri-polar scenario (Russia–U.S.–China) over bipolar or multipolar frameworks.
The College Administration congratulates Professor Al-Janabi on this substantial scholarly achievement, wishing him and all faculty members continued scientific and intellectual distinction. Success, ultimately, comes from God.
