Launch of the Diplomatic Etiquette Course at the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, lasting two days

- The course supports the Sustainable Development Goals.
- Adherence to etiquette enhances job performance and projects a positive image of the institution.
- Delivery of the opening lecture by Instructor Dr. Firas Muhammad Ahmad Elias.
- The course is held under the patronage of the Dean of the College and in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit.
- Attended by some members of the College Council, as well as a number of faculty members and staff.
In line with the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 4: Quality Education, and Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, the Diplomatic Etiquette Course “Between Culture and Practice” was launched at the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, on Wednesday, 24 September 2025, and lasts for two days.
The first day included a lecture by the International Relations instructor, Dr. Firas Muhammad Ahmad Elias, entitled “Etiquette in Official Institutions.”
The lecture aimed to highlight the behavioral and protocol foundations expected in governmental and official institutions, emphasizing the importance of adherence to promote a diplomatic work environment, as well as demonstrating its positive impact on overall job performance and the institution’s public image.
The course is held under the patronage and presence of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib Khalid Jassim Al-Taie, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit. It was attended by some members of the College Council and a group of faculty members and staff. The course is scheduled to conclude on Thursday, 25 September 2025, God willing.
