The Dean of the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul holds a special meeting with the college’s faculty members holding the academic title of Assistant Lecturer
In support of the Sustainable Development Goals — Goal 4: Quality Education, Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure — the Dean of the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul, Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib Khalid Jassim Al-Taie, chaired a special meeting with the college’s faculty members holding the title of Assistant Lecturer, on Monday, 13 October 2025.
The meeting was attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Khairallah S. Al-Jubouri, and the heads of the two academic departments.
The meeting emphasized the importance of adhering to official working hours in terms of attendance and departure, as this reflects academic discipline and the positive image of the institution. It also stressed the need to fulfill administrative and academic duties assigned to the faculty members in their respective divisions and units, in a manner that contributes to the smooth functioning of the educational process and organization of work within the college.
Furthermore, the Dean urged the faculty to enhance their research and scholarly activities, particularly by publishing in international indexed databases (such as Scopus), as this contributes to raising the academic and research standing of both the college and the university.
