The Council of the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul Continues Its Third Open Session for the Academic Year 2025–2026

In line with the Sustainable Development Goals — Goal 4: Quality Education, Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions — the Council of the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul held its third open session for the academic year 2025–2026 on Sunday, 12 October 2025.

The Council reviewed the key directives and instructions issued by the Presidency of the University of Mosul. It also recommended the awarding of master’s degrees to a number of postgraduate students. In academic matters, the Council approved the registration of several research projects by the college’s faculty members.

The meeting was chaired by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib Khalid Jassim Al-Ta’i, in the presence of the Scientific and Administrative Assistant Deans, Assistant Professor Dr. Khairallah Sabehan Al-Jubouri and Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Yaseen. It was also attended by the Heads of the Departments of International Relations and Public Policy, Professor Dr. Hazem Hamad Mousa and Professor Dr. Waleed Salem Mohammed, the representative of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate / Nineveh Branch, Professor Dr. Adnan Khalaf Al-Badrani, and the Council’s Rapporteur, Assistant Professor Dr. Younis Muaid Al-Dabbagh.
