The College of Political Science at the University of Mosul Organizes a University Morning Gathering for Female Students
In line with the Sustainable Development Goals — Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, and Goal 5: Gender Equality — the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Committee at the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, organized a morning gathering for the college’s female students on Thursday, 23 October 2025.
The activity falls within a series of programs aimed at providing psychological, educational, and social support for female students, and at fostering a positive university environment that enhances awareness and personal development.
The gathering included social activities designed to strengthen the spirit of friendship and unity among students. Participants were invited to wear traditional outfits representing their different ethnic backgrounds and to prepare a shared breakfast that symbolized cooperation and cultural diversity within the college. The initiative emphasized that there are no differences between ethnicities, sects, or religions — all are united by their shared human and academic belonging.
The event was held under the supervision of the Dean of the College as part of the Unit’s ongoing efforts to promote cohesion, mutual respect, and constructive cultural diversity among female students.
