In alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals — Goal 4: Quality Education, and Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure — and under the guidance and supervision of the Dean of the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, Asst. Prof. Dr. Suhaib Khalid Jasim Al-Ta’i, the renovation of the college classrooms was completed in the first week of the 2025–2026 academic year, during October 2025.

The renovation works included several stages, such as removing the old flooring and ceramic tiles and replacing them with new high-quality porcelain floors, renewing the suspended ceilings in a modern design consistent with the upgraded lighting system, as well as overhauling the electrical system and replacing all lighting units to ensure efficiency and safety. The air-conditioning units were dismantled, serviced, and reinstalled after technical maintenance. Additionally, the old wooden platforms were replaced with new porcelain ones, giving the classrooms a more elegant and organized appearance.

This project reflects the college’s commitment to providing a modern and integrated educational environment that meets the requirements of the academic process, enhances the comfort of students and faculty, and contributes to improving academic performance. It also demonstrates the college’s dedication to upgrading its educational facilities and ensuring all necessary conditions for a learning atmosphere that fosters creativity and engagement.
