College of Political Sciences

In line with the Sustainable Development Goals, Goal 4: Quality Education, the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Education, Professor Dr. Muzahim Qasim Al-Khayyat, conducted a scientific visit to the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul on Monday, 27 October 2025.

He was received by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib Khalid Jassim Al-Ta’i, along with several members of the College Council.

The visit aimed to review the academic and administrative reality of the College, discuss ways to develop its infrastructure and educational environment, and strengthen cooperation between the Parliamentary Committee on Education and the University of Mosul to support the academic process and scientific research.

The visit also included a presentation of the College’s major achievements and future plans, as well as a discussion of the challenges it faces in the fields of scientific research and postgraduate studies, and mechanisms for addressing them to ensure the advancement of higher education in Mosul and Iraq as a whole.
