College of Political Sciences

In line with the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 4: Quality Education, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, a delegation from the College of Political Science conducted a scientific visit to the First International Book Fair at the University of Mosul on the evening of Thursday, 30 October 2025. The delegation was led by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib Khalid Jasim Al-Taie, accompanied by some council members, a number of faculty members, staff, and students, including Dr. Mohammed Hazem Hamid, a lecturer from the Public Policy Department, representing the Volunteer Work Committee.

The visit aimed to support the university’s cultural and scientific activity, encourage openness to intellectual and knowledge resources, and promote a culture of reading and learning as a fundamental pillar in building an informed academic personality. The visit also included attending some of the cultural events held alongside the fair.
