Dean of the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul Attends the Sectoral Committee Meeting of Deans and Heads of Political Science Departments in Iraqi Universities
In pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals — Goal 4: Quality Education, Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals — the Dean of the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul, Asst. Prof. Dr. Suhaib Khalid Jassim Al-Tai, attended the first session of the academic year 2025–2026 of the Sectoral Committee of Deans and Heads of Political Science Departments in Iraqi Universities, held at Al-Ameed Institute for Graduate Studies in Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf on Saturday, 1 November 2025.
The meeting addressed several topics related to undergraduate and graduate studies, curriculum updates, admissions, and other academic issues.
The aim of the meeting was to develop and enhance the academic quality of political science colleges and departments across Iraq.
The session was chaired by Prof. Dr. Adel Abdul-Hamzah Bediwi, Head of the Committee, and opened with a welcoming speech by Prof. Dr. Zaid Adnan Al-Akeeli, Dean of Al-Ameed Institute for Graduate Studies, who extended his greetings to the participating deans and heads of departments.
