The College Council of Political Science at the University of Mosul Holds Its Fourth Session for the Academic Year 2025–2026

In line with the Sustainable Development Goals—Goal 4: Quality Education, Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions—the Council of the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul held its fourth session for the academic year 2025–2026 on Thursday, 30 October 2025.

The Council reviewed the minutes of the International Relations and Public Policy departments and discussed students’ requests regarding tuition reductions and hosting arrangements. It also examined and approved the plan of the University Psychological Counseling Division. During the session, officials from several divisions and student representatives were hosted to listen to their concerns and discuss possible solutions. In academic matters, committees were formed to discuss Master’s students’ theses.

The meeting was chaired by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib Khalid Jasim Al-Taie, in the presence of the Scientific and Administrative Assistants, Assistant Professors Dr. Khairallah Sibhan Al-Jubouri and Dr. Ali Hussein Yaseen. Also in attendance were the heads of the International Relations and Public Policy departments, Dr. Hazem Hamad Mousa and Dr. Walid Salem Muhammad, the representative of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate, Nineveh Branch, Dr. Adnan Khalaf Al-Badrani, as well as the Council Secretary, Assistant Professor Dr. Younis Muayad Al-Dabbagh.
