College of Political Science, University of Mosul, Launches the Sixtieth Issue of the Scientific Journal Political Papers

In line with the Sustainable Development Goals—specifically Goal 4: Quality Education, Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals—the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul launched the sixtieth issue of its scientific journal Political Papers in October 2025. This issue includes several diverse topics prepared and presented by a distinguished group of researchers and academics in the field of political science.
The published articles discussed topics such as parliamentary election management and party perspectives, the role of the United Nations in election monitoring, globalization and its impact on communication and alienation, human rights education in Iraqi universities, China’s strategy for securing transportation routes via the Polar Silk Road, as well as a study on the Ukrainian famine “Holodomor” as a model of extermination through starvation.
It is noteworthy that the journal is a peer-reviewed scientific publication issued monthly, with a registration number at the Baghdad Library and Archives of 1378 for the year 2010.
