The College of Political Science at the University of Mosul Hosts a Workshop on Activating Researchers’ Accounts on Scopus and WOS
In alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals, Goal 4: Quality Education, and Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul hosted a workshop on activating researchers’ accounts on the Scopus and Web of Science (WOS) platforms, on Thursday, 6 November 2025.
The workshop was presented by the Head of the Francophone Corner Unit at the University, Lecturer Dr. Samir Riyadh Mamdouh, and coordinated by the Scientific Assistant Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Khairallah Sabhan Al-Jubouri.
The workshop aimed to enhance the capabilities of researchers and facilitate the process of publishing in internationally peer-reviewed journals. It included an overview of the steps required to activate these accounts, given their importance in tracking research performance and obtaining the required scientific indicators.
The workshop was attended by several members of the College Council, in addition to faculty members and postgraduate students.
