The College of Political Science at the University of Mosul provides material and moral support through the voluntary visit conducted to the Orphanage in Nineveh

In line with the Sustainable Development Goals, Goal 1: No Poverty, and in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning/Sustainable Development Unit, the Human Rights Division (at the University of Mosul Presidency), the Student Activities Division (Voluntary Work Unit and Student Activities Unit), and the Human Rights Unit (at the College of Political Science), the college conducted a voluntary visit to the orphanage in Nineveh, affiliated with the Directorate of Labor and Social Security, on Wednesday, 26 November 2025.

The visit aimed to provide material and moral support to the orphans, bring joy to their hearts, and enhance their sense of care and attention. It also sought to promote the values of social solidarity, the spirit of volunteering, and encourage active participation in community service. Efforts focused on building bridges of human communication with this special segment of society, affirming the concept of humanitarian responsibility.
The visit was carried out under the supervision of the College Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib Khalid Jassim Al-Taie, and the college delegation consisted of a number of faculty members and students alike.
