The College of Political Science at the University of Mosul conducts an academic visit to the Heritage House in the Old City of the Left Bank of Mosul
In line with the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 4: Quality Education, and Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, and in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning/Sustainable Development Unit (for the University Presidency) and the Continuing Education Unit (for the College of Political Science), the University Counseling Division organized an academic visit to the Heritage House in the Old City of the Left Bank of Mosul on Monday, 15 December 2025.
The visit aimed to introduce students to the cultural and civilizational heritage of Mosul, enhance their awareness of the importance of preserving heritage, as well as connect the theoretical concepts they study with practical reality. It also aimed to foster a sense of belonging and national identity, contributing to the support of cultural and community sustainability concepts.
The activity was held under the supervision of the college’s administration, targeting the student segment, with the attendance of several faculty members.
