College of Political Sciences

In line with the Sustainable Development Goals, Goal Four: Quality Education, and Goal Sixteen: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, and in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning/ Sustainable Development Unit (at the University of Mosul Presidency); the Dean of the College of Political Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib Khalid Jasim Al-Ta’i, attended part of the Public Policy Branch meeting, chaired by the Head of the Branch, Professor Dr. Walid Salem Mohammed, on Sunday, 28 December 2025.

The meeting discussed a number of organizational and administrative topics, including emphasizing the need to comply with functional standards and current regulations regarding attendance and departure, and organizing work to ensure smoothness and integration between the teaching obligations of first-year students on one hand, and the ongoing midterm exam monitoring tasks for second, third, and fourth-year students on the other hand, coordinated with night guard duties and breaks, contributing to a stable and disciplined university environment.
The meeting also stressed the importance of adhering to the official working hours for both the morning and evening studies, which enhances institutional performance and elevates both the academic and administrative levels.
Among those present were also the Administrative Assistant (Branch Lecturer) Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Yassin, the representative of the Academics’ Syndicate, Lecturer Dr. Firas Mohammed Elias, as well as the branch secretary and lecturers concerned.
