College of Political Sciences

In line with the Sustainable Development Goals, Goal Sixteen: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, and in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning/ Sustainable Development Unit (at the Presidency of the University of Mosul); the Financial Affairs Division of the College of Political Science has completed all financial closing procedures for the Higher Education Fund and the budget for the fiscal year 2025, on Wednesday, 31 December 2025. The procedures were carried out smoothly and efficiently, under the supervision of the Audit and Internal Control Division, and with the participation of the inventory committees formed for this purpose, in full accordance with the specified timelines.

This achievement falls within the framework of the College Deanship’s and the relevant divisions’ commitment to complying with the applicable financial and administrative regulations, and to promoting the principles of transparency and institutional discipline. It also reflects the competence of the specialized staff (particularly in the two aforementioned divisions) and their effective role in completing tasks within the designated timeframes, thereby ensuring optimal and sound management of financial resources.

For its part, the College Deanship commended these efforts, appreciating the significant work carried out with precision and responsible professionalism, while affirming continued support for all initiatives that contribute to enhancing professional and functional performance, in service of the academic and institutional mission, God willing.
