College of Political Science, University of Mosul Launches the Sixty-Second Issue of the Academic Periodical Political Papers

In pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals—Goal 4: Quality Education; Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions; and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals—the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul launched the sixty-second issue of the academic periodical Political Papers in December 2025. The issue includes a range of diverse topics prepared and presented by a select group of researchers and academics in the field of political science.
The published articles discuss the implications of international transformations on the Middle East, moving from alignment politics to rebalancing; the issue of Iraqi water security in light of regional factors and internal deficiencies in management and policies; the water situation in Iraq and future challenges; the environmental and hydrological impacts of Turkey’s GAP Project on Iraq’s water security; as well as water scarcity and promising solutions, particularly rainwater harvesting.
It is worth noting that the periodical is a peer-reviewed scientific journal issued monthly, and its deposit number at the House of Books and Documents in Baghdad is 1378 for the year 2010.
