The Enki Scientific Research Network published a translated study by Assistant Professor Dr. Tariq Mohammed Dhanoon, a faculty member of the International Relations Department at our college. The study includes a translation of an article by Stephen Walt, originally published in Foreign Affairs, in which he describes the grand strategy of Trump’s second administration as “predatory hegemony”—an approach aimed at using American superiority to extract concessions and gains from both allies and adversaries alike, within a zero-sum framework that could undermine Washington’s global standing in the long term.
