The Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Yassin, Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs and a faculty member of the Public Policy Branch at our College, has published a joint research paper with Assistant Professor Dr. Akram Falih Al-Sawwaf from the College of Law at the University of Mosul in the Al-Qadisiyah Journal of Law and Political Science, in the first part of Issue No. 1, Volume No. 1, March 2026, entitled “The Role of Public Education Policies in Promoting a Culture of Tolerance in Iraq: Challenges and Remedies.”

The research highlights the major challenges contributing to the decline of educational policies and the resulting impact on the weakening of the culture of tolerance in society. It also explores the most effective strategies for fostering loyalty and a sense of belonging among the diverse components of society, as well as the importance of distancing educational institutions from politicization and political disputes.
