Under the supervision of the respected Associate Professor Dr. Suhaib Khalid Jassim Al-Taie, Dean of the College of Political Science, the Women’s Affairs Committee at our college—in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning / Sustainable Development Unit, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the University of Mosul Presidency, the Continuing Education Unit, and the Sustainable Development Committee at our college—organized a scientific workshop titled: “Climate Change and Its Ramifications for Societal Security” on Tuesday, June 9, 2026. The significance of this workshop lies in its alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly (Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being), (Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities), (Goal 13: Climate Action), and (Goal 15: Life on Land).
