Teaching Staff Member at the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, Assistant Lecturer Omar Othman Ibrahim, Completes Five Ministerial Training Courses via the Eduba Platform

In pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, Goal 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, and Goal 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, and in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning/ Sustainable Development Unit at the Presidency of the University of Mosul, Assistant Lecturer Omar Othman Ibrahim, a teaching staff member in the Public Policy Branch at the College of Political Science, has completed five certified online training courses organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research through the Eduba platform. His participation culminated in the awarding of five certificates of completion after fulfilling the course requirements and successfully passing the assessment tests.
The courses covered topics including smart and advanced research on the Web of Science platform; the Advanced Program in Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Incubators, and Science and Technology Parks – Part One; reasons for rejecting research articles and ways to overcome them; reputable journals; as well as the concept of the Hirsch Index (h-index) and methods for increasing it.
This participation reflects the College’s commitment to encouraging its teaching staff to pursue continuous professional development and engage in high-quality training programs provided by the Ministry. It contributes to enhancing scientific and research competencies, fostering a culture of lifelong learning, supporting the quality of academic performance, and fulfilling the requirements of institutional excellence.
