Two Faculty Members from the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul Participate in a Ministerial Team Conducting an Evaluation Visit to the University of Anbar

In pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, and in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning / Sustainable Development Unit at the Presidency of the University of Mosul, the Scientific Assistant Dean of the College of Political Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Younis Muayyad Younis, accompanied by Assistant Professor Dr. Khairallah Subhan Al-Jubouri, a faculty member in the Department of Public Policy, conducted an evaluation visit to the College of Political Science at the University of Anbar on Sunday, 30 August 2026.
The visit aimed to review the college’s scientific and academic status, assess the level of scientific and educational performance, and determine the extent to which it meets the approved standards and regulations. It also sought to identify strengths and areas for improvement, thereby contributing to the advancement of the educational and academic process, as well as enhancing the quality of institutional performance.
It is noteworthy that the aforementioned faculty members are members of the ministerial team assigned to evaluate the scientific and academic status of Colleges of Political Science at Iraqi universities. The team is tasked with assessing their scientific and academic performance, examining the level of implementation of approved academic and educational standards, and following up on requirements for the development of academic programs, curricula, and academic work mechanisms, in line with the Ministry’s directions in this regard.
