In pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals, namely Goal 4: Quality Education, Goal 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, and in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning / Sustainable Development Unit at the Presidency of the University of Mosul, the Scientific Committee for the Bologna Process at the College of Political Science held its regular meeting on Sunday, 13 September 2026.

The meeting aimed to prepare the requirements for implementing the Bologna Process for first-year students during the 2026–2027 academic year and to discuss the necessary scientific and academic procedures to ensure the successful implementation of the process. It also addressed the completion of the guides and organizational procedures related to the educational process, contributing to the achievement of quality and academic accreditation standards and the advancement of the quality of university education.
