In pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals, Goal Four: Quality Education, and in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning/ Sustainable Development Unit at the Presidency of the University of Mosul, the Head of the Public Policy Branch at the College of Political Science, Prof. Dr. Ziyad Samir Zaki, chaired a specialized meeting with the branch’s teaching staff on Wednesday, 16 September 2026.

The meeting aimed to discuss the academic and scientific preparations for the commencement of the new academic year 2026–2027, explore mechanisms for developing the educational process within the branch, and follow up on the requirements of academic courses and curricula. A number of issues contributing to enhancing academic and teaching performance were also discussed, along with strengthening cooperation and coordination among the branch’s teaching staff in line with the directions of the College and the University in general. The meeting was also attended by the Branch Rapporteur, Lecturer Dr. Zaid Rafi Sultan.
