In pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals, Goal 4: Quality Education, and Goal 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, and in cooperation with the Studies and Planning Department / Sustainable Development Unit at the Presidency of the University of Mosul, the University Presidency issued a letter of appreciation to Professor Mohammed Salih Shteib, a faculty member in the Public Policy Branch at the College of Political Science, on 4 October 2026. The letter was awarded in recognition of his promotion to the rank of Professor.

The College Deanship, in turn, expressed its appreciation for this kind gesture by the respected University Presidency, wishing all faculty members continued creativity and excellence, God willing.
