In pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals, Goal 4: Quality Education and Strong Institutions, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, and in cooperation with the Studies and Planning Department/ Sustainable Development Unit at the Presidency of the University of Mosul, the UNESCO Chair presented a certificate of appreciation to the Dean of the College of Political Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib Khalid Jasim Al-Ta’i, on Tuesday, 13 October 2026.

The certificate was presented by the Director of the UNESCO Chair, Assistant Professor Dr. Ziyad Abdulwahab Al-Nuaimi, in recognition of Dr. Al-Ta’i’s valuable contribution to delivering lectures during the training course entitled “Countering Extremism and Achieving Community Peace,” held from 30 August to 1 September 2026.
