The Public Law Branch / Criminal Law Specialization, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Law, held a scientific workshop titled “Criminal Confrontation of Digital Crimes Against Children” as part of the activities aimed at achieving the goals of sustainable development.
The workshop addressed shedding light on the increasing risks that children face in the digital space and the legal means of protection against cybercrimes, while explaining the legislative frameworks capable of combating these crimes and reducing their effects.
The workshop also witnessed distinguished academic attendance from faculty members and students of the college, where emphasis was placed on the importance of enhancing community awareness and legal education to protect children in the digital world, as this is a shared human and legal responsibility.
The workshop activities took place on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Dr. Layla Abdullah Hall, in a fruitful scientific atmosphere that contributed to enriching discussions and exchanging views on this vital topic.
