Within the framework of enhancing joint cooperation and the societal responsibility of academic institutions, the College of Law, represented by the Studies and Planning Division, held an expanded meeting with the Head of the Social and Educational Research Unit at the Research and Development Department of the Nineveh Governorate Office, Ms. Aya Omar Ibrahim, to discuss prospects for mutual scientific and societal cooperation between the two sides.

The meeting, which was coordinated by the Studies and Planning Division at the college, witnessed an agreement to launch a package of joint activities, workshops, and seminars that will focus on the following axes: protecting national identity, archaeological sites, and the cultural heritage of the governorate; the digital environment and innovation; protecting intellectual property rights; and awareness-raising and social control to address negative phenomena and emerging crimes.
