The Private Law Branch at the College of Law – University of Mosul, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, held a scientific workshop titled “The Fuel Card in Nineveh and the Nature of the Right Arising Therefrom,” on Sunday, 4/10/2026, in the Hall of the Martyr Dr. Layla Abdullah Saeed.

The workshop addressed the subject of the fuel card adopted in Nineveh Governorate from a legal perspective, clarifying the nature of the right arising therefrom and the legal basis regulating it, in addition to discussing the legal effects resulting from dealing with it and the issues it raises related to rights and obligations.

The workshop witnessed the attendance of lecturers and those interested in legal affairs, and constituted a scientific opportunity to discuss the subject and exchange opinions and legal perspectives on it, in a way that contributes to enhancing legal awareness of emerging issues related to services and transactions connected with citizens.

The participants from the Oil Products Company were honored by the Deanship of the College of Law in appreciation of the efforts exerted in the scientific workshop.
