Voluntary Field Visit to Al-Farah Orphanage
In line with the Deanship of the College of Law at the University of Mosul, represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi and the members of the College Council, the College is committed to humanitarian and community outreach with government departments and institutions, and to contributing to extending a helping hand to vulnerable groups in society. On Thursday, April 17, 2025, a number of our college faculty members and students visited Al-Farah Orphanage as part of extracurricular activities aimed at fostering communication between theoretical and practical aspects. The school was presented with a number of awareness-raising brochures addressing the legal status of phenomena negatively impacting society, including the misuse of modern technology and social media, and related actions that may rise to the level of crimes such as cyber-extortion. This visit is part of a series of field visits by our college members to government departments and institutions within the College’s community programs aimed at cooperating and interacting with scientific and educational institutions, as well as reviewing the legal and governmental mechanisms for dealing with phenomena and crimes and their impact on society in its various segments.
